Volunteers

Handcrafts Unlimited is a non-profit consignment store that sells handcrafted products made by area seniors over age 50.

The store is completely staffed by volunteers.

Most volunteers chose to work at Handcrafts Unlimited because they enjoy the conviviality as well as the opportunity to make a contribution to the community. Many work only one day a week, sometimes as few as two hours.

Regular volunteer jobs include making sales, accepting and displaying consigned products, and greeting visitors. Volunteers are also needed for special store events such as craft demonstrations and hospitality for First Fridays, children's’ after-school craft activities, the October and April Sidewalk sales and children’s Christmas shopping.
